Your Baby's First Messy Play Experience
Welcome your little one to the exciting world of sensory discovery in our gentle, baby-led messy play sessions. We've thoughtfully created a relaxed and calming atmosphere, complete with dimmed lights and soft music, to support your baby as they explore new textures and sensations.
With a smaller class size, each 45-minute session provides a tranquil, less overwhelming environment for both parent and child. Your baby can move and explore freely, and you can allow them to get as messy as you are both comfortable with, without any pressure. For your convenience, we offer tummy time cushions so you can fully engage with your baby hands-free. Beyond the sensory fun, you'll also find a friendly and welcoming community of parents, with many connections and friendships forming from the very first class.

For those who need it, a large tub of warm water and flannels are provided at the end to wash down. Please remember your towel 🛁

THEMES AND ACTIVITIES

Each week the activities are planned around a theme with no less than 6 play areas - 2 wet messy stations, 2 dry messy stations, a themed sensory area and a paint station. The materials and theme change weekly, this offers your baby the opportunity to independently explore a wide range of materials over a term.

Terms typically last 6 weeks, half term specials are not included in the price.


MATERIALS

Most of the products used in class are taste safe which means they are safe to be consumed in small amounts (children tend to explore with their senses including their mouth). They are not however meant to be consumed as you would as a meal. Please make sure you supervise your children at all times. For those babies who are not yet at weaning age, it is your responsibility to ensure they do not consume the food items. No responsibility can be taken for babies who put the food in their mouth.

The main consumables we use are: uncooked rice, cooked and uncooked pasta, cornflour, agar agar, food grade colourings and flavourings, salt, flour, (TTS / Baker Ross) Ready Mixed Paint, (Zimpli Kids) Gelli Baff, play sand, porridge oats, egg and dairy free breakfast cereal, vegetable oil, water, amongst others.

FOOD ALLERGIES

Some products used in class will contain dairy, egg or gluten. I understand how hard it can be to join in group classes if your child has allergies. I will always aim to accommodate any requirements but in order to do so please email me as soon as possible, ideally before booking so we can discuss your child's requirements beforehand.

Please note that if you or your child have a severe allergy, I cannot guarantee that there isn’t cross contamination as I use many different suppliers each with complex supply chains.
